The status of the employees who refuse to be vaccinated and the employers who request their employees to be vaccinated has become a discussion with the commencement of the vaccination process within the scope of the COVID-19 Vaccination National Implementation Strategy of the T.R. Ministry of Health.

Various amendments on Tourism Promotion Law numbered 2634 (“Law”) have been made by Law Regarding Amendments on Tourism Promotion Law and Some Laws published in Official Gazette. Accordingly, a provision, stipulating that the foreign flagged commercial yachts may temporarily operate in Turkish territorial waters on conditions that the some requirements are met, has been added to article 29 of the Law.

As vaccinations continue within the scope of fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic, the General Letter (“General Letter”) dated 02.09.2021 including information on PCR test that employers will require from their employees and the employers’ obligation to notify their employees on the risks and precautions of COVID-19, was served to the Governorships all around the Turkey by the T.R. Ministry of Labor and Social Security (“Ministry”).
